Al Hammell Baseball Spring Training Camps CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR ALL CAMPS See Below for Camp Details ______________________________________________________________ “Hit ‘till Opening Day” Advanced Hitting Camp with Al Hammell Sundays- March 30, April 6, 13, 20 Four 1.5 hour Hitting Sessions Held on Sundays in ‘08 March 30 & April 6, 13, 20 · Instructional batting practice sessions to be held at The Dutchess Day School in Millbrook. · Instruction will be led by former New York Met minor leaguer player Al Hammell. · Limited to the first 32 Players to sign up in each age group. Facilities: The 2008 “Hit ’till Opening Day” program will utilize the indoor facilities at The Dutchess Day School in Millbrook. · Spacious gymnasium with numerous hitting stations · Four live “short screen” hitting stations in two full-length Batting Cages Instruction: Each week, Al Hammell will lead your child through a comprehensive program on hitting mechanics and technique. Everything from bat selection, grip, batting stance/set-up, load/trigger, pitch recognition, plate coverage, bat path, hip rotation/weight transfer, to proper finish will be covered. All instruction will be reinforced through numerous repetitions promoting proper muscle memory as your child gets ready to begin a new baseball season. Equipment: Players should bring a baseball bat, a batting helmet, and batting gloves (encouraged) to the clinics each week. (Extra bats and helmets will be provided for players who do not bring their own) Players should wear sneakers. Cost and Payment: $95 For the 4 Week Session This includes four weeks (6 hours) of professional instruction and batting repetitions. Limited to the first 32 Players to enroll. _____________________________________________________________________ Al Hammell 2008 School Vacation Spring Training Baseball Camp April 14-17 Monday - Thursday AGES 7-12 9:00am-2:00pm AGES 5-6 12:00pm-2:00pm · Camp will be held at The Beekman Recreation Center · Go to “Spring Training” to prepare for your season, just like the Big Leaguers do · Spring Training will be directed by former New York Met Minor Leaguer, Al Hammell. Cost and Payment: $175 Per player for the Mon.-Thurs. Spring Training Camp 9:00am-2:00pm $100 Per Player for the Mon.-Thurs. Beginners Camp 12:00-2:00pm (845) 635-3002
