ear Friends,

Sports have been a very important part of my life since I was a young boy. From competing in youth sports leagues, high school and college athletics, and all the way through to my experience in professional baseball, sports have played a vital role in shaping me as a person.

Many of my fondest memories and most valuable life lessons have come from competing in sports.  I can also remember quite vividly my years of attending sports camps as a child.

Today, the most rewarding aspect of operating my own baseball camps and clinics is knowing that the youngsters attending will have the same types of positive experiences and will begin to gain core values that will be with them for years to come.

I believe that bringing young athletes together to learn as we play is a tremendous privilege. The mission of my baseball camps and clinics is not only to develop sport-specific baseball skills, but also to instill positive values that encourage leadership, accomplishment, fair play and teamwork.

2012 will mark my 17th consecutive year of conducting Baseball Camps and Clinics since ending my professional baseball-playing career with the New York Mets. I look forward to combining my own camp and sports experience to offer a fun-filled, instructional year of baseball camps and clinics for our local baseball players.

I hope you will join me!
